An outstanding performance from the Year 5&6 boys in the Swansea City AFC Foundation football festival at Haverfordwest County AFC today.
They were unbeaten in the group stages and progressed through to the semi finals without conceding a goal! They scored some terrific goals and both of the goalkeepers were superb throughout!
They played Hafan Y Mor in the semi final and the game went to extra time. They pinched a winner with the very last kick of the game.
The final was against a very strong and physical Narberth side who played some terrific football. Everyone worked tirelessly and defended like warriors. It remained 0-0 at the end of extra time. Unfortunately, they went on to win 2-0 on penalties. Both sides progress through to the next round in Swansea next week! ⚽️ ... See MoreSee Less

Huge congratulations to all of our children for their fantastic achievements, both in and out of school, celebrated in today’s assembly. We were delighted to recognise their efforts that reflect our wonderful community spirit, and children going above and beyond with their behaviours.
A special mention goes to those children who took part in the New Year’s Day swims at Angle and Saundersfoot to raise money for charity — what an incredible achievement and a brilliant example of determination and bravery. 🌊💙
Happy birthday to everyone who has celebrated a birthday this week! 🎂
Well done to everyone for their efforts with the House Points chart — it’s incredibly close between Herons, Cormorants and Swans, so a fantastic effort all round. It's shaping up to be a very close run thing, which is fantastic.
Finally, attendance! Congratulations to Merlin Class for achieving top spot last term, and they can look forward to a reward that will be coming very soon! It’s early days this term, but Merlin Class are already off to a strong start. Let’s all work together to make attendance a real priority this term.
Well done, everyone! 🌟 ... See MoreSee Less
