Welcome to the website for Golden Grove School/ Ysgol Gelli Aur which we hope will help you gain more of an understanding of the work and life of our school, and to appreciate the exciting opportunities on offer to children in our care.
Our school serves its community by working in partnership to provide an education of the highest quality with an understanding of shared values. As a school, we celebrate the diversity of the wider community and are committed to the principles of inclusion and equality of opportunity.
Finding the right school for your child is vitally School. Most parents want a good primary education for their children but they also want them to be happy and to feel safe and secure. At Golden Grove School, we believe we can offer all of these things.
We pride ourselves on the broad, balanced and full education we provide in the Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2 settings, and the high standard of teaching and learning are a credit to the hard work of both staff and pupils. Equally, we are also proud of the atmosphere of respect, friendship and co-operation which is always evident. We believe that the ‘special feel’ at Golden Grove is to do with this caring, friendly atmosphere.
Our school continues to develop in many exciting ways, providing an even more enriching experience for our pupils. Should you choose to send your child to Golden Grove School, I am fully confident that we will be able to provide a well-structured and exciting learning environment for him or her.

This week, we started our assembly with some Harvest songs as we appreciate and thank all of those people who provide so much for us!
We celebrated all our wonderful pupils who, consistently, go above-and-beyond in class! Da iawn 💫
We had badges, trophies and certificates to hand out for rugby, swimming and cubs.🎖️
We announced the new school choir who have been busy auditioning with Mrs Jones 🎶 We look forward to hearing them sing in the future!!
We celebrated birthdays and a very special birthday to one of our members of staff! 🎉
