Children's Activities Gweithgareddau Plant
Summer Term Fun!
We’ve already had such a busy start to the term but don’t worry there is plenty more learning and fun to come.
Fishing with the Pembrokeshire Federation of Anglers takes place every Monday afternoon. We are very lucky that this will be an ongoing opportunity throughout the next academic year so even more children will be able to join in.
Last week our Service Children from the y3-y6 classes had an afternoon in the School Woodland Den Building with our SCCE Cymru Representative Emma.
Various children from yr3-yr6 were invited to a special Beach event hosted by South Hook LNG and run by the fantastic Beach Academy Wales CIC at Newgale Beach. We learnt lots about Beach Erosion, Wildlife and had a great time making our very own ‘Rocktopus’.
Next week our Refugee Families have been invited to take part in a variety of outdoor activities with PDCS to celebrate Refugee Week.
We will also be working with Plant Dewi Mens Project to fix the School Go Karts and you are welcome to bring your bike to the session to give it a check up on Tuesday 20th June.
There will be lots going on at Tabernacle Garden Through Time, where our Nursery Children have been invited to take part in a series of activities to help them explore our local environment. Activities will include Bug Hunts and making Flower Crowns.
21st June is our School Duathlon which will be a great Event so please do come along and support the children.
27th June is our Sports Day and the Children have already been practicing really hard for it.
7th July is the School Summer Bonanza run by FOGG. If you’d like to get involved and help out on the day then please don’t hesitate to call in to the School Office or email lilyw5@hwbcymru.net for more information.
In July our Multilingual group will be heading to Folly Farm to have a fun filled day and learning all about the animals.
A Parents Wellbeing Walk around the Bosherston Lily Ponds is planned for early July so please do come along and join us!
Don’t forget our final Parents and Kids event of the Summer term will be Pizza making and rounders on the School field on Tuesday 18th July. This event is open to all but please do let me know if you’d like to come along so that we don’t run out of Pizza!
Keep an eye on the Calendar to see what is going on each week.
