Instruction Writing – How To Steal Christmas.
Creating a set of instructions on 'How to steal Christmas' based on How The Grinch Stole Christmas by Dr Seuss.
We’ve had such a busy few weeks with the whole School getting involved in Christmas concerts, trips to the theatre and even a special visit from Father Christmas himself!
We have come to the end of our FaCE project and are so grateful of the parents who have supported this event, it’s been so fun getting to know you all and the feedback you’ve given is invaluable in helping us plan our projects for the coming term.
Nursery class (AM) Enjoyed a trip to Pembroke Leisure Centre and were wonderful in the water. This is an exciting new opportunity for us and we will be opening these sessions up to Nursery and Reception classes from February so please keep your eyes on Parentmail for further details on how to sign up.
Last week, we welcomed back Plant Dewi Dads group and made salt dough Christmas decorations with them and had some delicious burgers. This was their last session of the year and they will join us again at the end of January when we are planning to take some Dads and Kids up to their allotment and bike shed. If you’d be interested in joining us for this event please email me at Lilyw5@hwbcymru.net.
We will be starting some new family sessions in January so please keep an eye on the Calendar to see what we are up to. These are open to all age groups and a parent/guardian.
This week we have our Carol Concert at Westgate Chapel at 1.30pm tomorrow (Tuesday 19th Dec) and Singing around the Christmas Tree with mince pies and mulled wine at 2pm on Wednesday 20th December. Please remember we have Inset day on Friday 22nd so the last day for the children is Thursday 21st.
We are so proud of everything the Children have achieved this term and very excited to see what the new year will bring us.
